Eyeing IU

  • Hoosiers announce remainder of sked
Indiana formally announced the rest of its schedule today, with the season opener on Nov. 14 against Mississippi Valley State. There is only one exhibition game: Indianapolis visits Assembly Hall for a glorified scrimmage on Nov.
  • Hoosier offense belongs to Sudfeld
BLOOMINGTON – The shared journey is over. Indiana’s quarterback role belongs to one man, Nate Sudfeld.
  • Indiana, Big Ten and college football predictions sure to go wrong
The college football season officially starts tonight when Abilene Christian and Georgia State kick off. It’s a game no one would normally care about, but since we’re a football-starved nation, curious eyes will tune in to ESPNU.

Indiana ranked No. 6 in AP poll

Indiana is no longer No. 1 in the men's basketball poll.

The Hoosiers fell to No. 6 in The Associated Press men's basketball poll released Monday.

IU dropped in the poll after falling to Butler 88-86 in overtime Saturday at the Crossroads Classic at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Indiana is 9-1 on the season.

The Hoosiers had occupied the top spot since the preseason poll was released.

Duke takes over at No. 1. Michigan, Syracuse, Arizona and Louisville round out the top 5.

The Big Ten has six teams in the poll -- No. 2 Michigan, No. 6 IU, No. 7 Ohio State, No. 10 Illinois, No. 13 Minnesota and No. 20 Michigan State.

Butler moved into the poll at No. 19. The Bulldogs were unranked last week.
