Indiana ranked No. 6 in AP poll

Indiana is no longer No. 1 in the men's basketball poll.

The Hoosiers fell to No. 6 in The Associated Press men's basketball poll released Monday.

IU dropped in the poll after falling to Butler 88-86 in overtime Saturday at the Crossroads Classic at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Indiana is 9-1 on the season.

The Hoosiers had occupied the top spot since the preseason poll was released.

Duke takes over at No. 1. Michigan, Syracuse, Arizona and Louisville round out the top 5.

The Big Ten has six teams in the poll -- No. 2 Michigan, No. 6 IU, No. 7 Ohio State, No. 10 Illinois, No. 13 Minnesota and No. 20 Michigan State.

Butler moved into the poll at No. 19. The Bulldogs were unranked last week.
