    The Crossroads Classic, a men's basketball event held at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, has been extended through 2019, the athletic directors at Indiana, Butler, Purdue and Notre Dame announced Thursday.

    Joe Schopper, a punter at Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, tweeted Tuesday that he has committed to join Purdue's Class of 2015.

Purdue meets No. 22 Notre Dame as part of the Crossroads Classic today at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The Boilermakers look to bounce back after a loss last Saturday at Eastern Michigan. Purdue had 18 turnovers in the contest.

Terone Johnson is averaging 15.8 points in Purdue’s last four games. He is averaging a team-high 13 points on the season. Center A.J. Hammons is averaging 9.3 points.

Forward Jack Cooley leads Notre Dame. He is averaging a double-double (14.2 points, 11.3 rebounds).

Notre Dame also has talented guards in Jerian Grant and Eric Atkins. They are averaging 12.9 and 10.9 points, respectively.
