Jordan still tender

Keeping tabs on the progression of IPFW guard Justin Jordan, and the former North Side guard is still walking gingerly.

Jordan, if you recall, tore up his knee in a pickup basketball game last summer and has been rehabbing since then.

During IPFW practice the other day, he's been able to get onto the floor and do some light shooting, but no running and no jumping. No one is quite sure when Jordan will be able to join the team for practice. It was hoped he would be with the team when Summit League play begins, but that doesn't seem likely since IPFW's first conference game is Dec. 27 at IUPUI.

IPFW's next game is Monday at Notre Dame.

Originally, the game was to be televised on ESPN 3, but the game has been switched to ESPNU.
