Area man charged in painkiller sale

Umber

Narcotics officers have arrested a North Webster man on charges of selling prescription painkillers.

Lynn Umber, 58, was charged with two felony counts of dealing a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, park or public housing complex.

The Kosciusko County Drug Task Force said undercover officers bought OxyContin from Umber twice.

Arrested Monday, Umber posted a $50,000 bond to be released.
