Carson’s to anchor Glenbrook in Marshall Field’s space

Fort Wayne, IN (December 12, 2012) – Glenbrook Square today announced Carson’s department store to its eclectic mix of retailers. The beautiful 122,000-square-foot store will be located in the former Marshall Field’s space next to Regis Hair. Remodeling of the site is expected to begin in early 2013 with a fall grand opening.

“The addition of Carson’s illustrates our commitment to offer our customers the best retail in the area. Carson’s offers a great merchandise mix and we’re thrilled to offer our shoppers with yet another stellar retail option,” said Chris Ford, marketing manager of Glenbrook Square.

Carson’s is a regional department store chain owned by The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. It offers a broad assortment of brand-name fashion apparel and accessories for women, men and children, as well as cosmetics. This new retailer will be the fourth department store at Glenbrook Square.

Brendan Hoffman, President and Chief Executive Officer, stated, “We are pleased to announce this transaction with GGP which affords us entrée into a new market in Indiana, expanding the number of our stores in the state to 14. We believe our new Carson’s will enhance the total shopping experience for consumers in the Fort Wayne market.”
