Grain futures fall, livestock prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures fell Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery fell 27.25 cents to $8.2150 a bushel; March corn fell 2 cents to $7.28 a bushel; March oats slipped 1 cent to $3.88 a bushel; while January soybeans fell 2.75 cents to $14.72 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose 1.68 cent to $1.3195 a pound; January feeder cattle rose 2.30 cents to $1.5207 a pound; February lean hogs gained 0.23 cent to 84.15 cents a pound.
