Former Carroll standout Kelley Meiklejohn inherited a girls basketball program at Snider that has long been known for success.
But the new Panthers coach still wanted to make her mark on the program.
Meiklejohn, who also played at Manchester University, has the Panthers off to a 7-1 start.
"I am pretty lucky to come here," Meiklejohn said after Tuesday's 57-31 win over East Noble. "I have great assistants here who have helped me get used to the program.
"A couple of things we talk about day in and day out are accountability and discipline. The program's I have come from are huge on discipline, and with that I want to push that upon the girls here at Snider. They have been doing a great job so far, but we have a long way to go. We hold each other accountable."
