Lane restriction begins on Indiana 9

Drivers using Indiana 9 between the Indiana Toll Road and the city of LaGrange can expect to see lane restricts for the next several days.

The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department issued an advisory Monday morning that said the state route is restricted to one lane.

The Indiana Department of Transportation said that road maintenance work is under way between West North Street, six miles north of LaGrange, and the Toll Road.

The width limit is 12 feet.

The work is scheduled for completion about 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, INDOT said.
