Komets captain out

The Komets are without center Colin Chaulk, the team captain, who injured his shoulder in Friday's 5-4 shootout victory at Orlando, Fla., according to Bob Chase on his WOWO pregame show.

He will be on the bench as an assistant coach.

Brett Smith remains out with his groin injury.

The good news is Lincoln Kaleigh Schrock is back from his one-game suspension for instigating a fight in the final five minutes of a game at Gwinnett, Ga.

Still, the Komets are going to be light up the middle.
