Griswold drug raid nets 2

A Fort Wayne man and woman were arrested on drug-related charges Thursday after city police forced them out of a home using a flash-bang device.

Police were called to a home in the 1900 block of Griswold Drive about 1:45 p.m. to assist narcotics detectives with the arrest of Anton Moore, 26. He had an outstanding federal warrant for his arrest on a probation violation accusing him of dealing cocaine, city police said.

Police were unable to communicate with Moore and deployed the flash-bang device. Moore surrendered peacefully, police said.

Police learned an 18-year-old woman was also in the home. She was arrested on drug-related charges that are currently pending, police said.

The case remains under investigation by Fort Wayne police the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
