Unita Drive search on Friday afternoon.

FBI agents raided three more Fort Wayne homes Friday morning – expanding an investigation that surfaced Thursday and focused on a house in the Cherry Hill subdivision.

That house belongs to Michael Fabini, and investigators with the FBI Safe Streets Task Force spent all day Thursday carting out a variety of items from the 7,500-square-foot house. Six other locations were searched Thursday, including an outbuilding at the home of Fabini's brother, Jason, a former NFL offensive lineman.

Jason Fabini is not a suspect, sources close to the investigation have told The Journal Gazette.

The FBI's Safe Streets Task Force is conducting the investigation. Implemented locally three years ago, the task force, made up of FBI agents as well as state and local law enforcement officers, targets ongoing criminal enterprises.

On Friday, investigators searched 2033 Falcon Ridge Court, 718 Lawton Place and 10110 Unita Drive.

At the Unita Drive address, federal investigators were seen carrying out a number of firearms and what appeared to be bags of ammunition.

Both the Falcon Ridge Court and the Lawton Place addresses are affiliated with Rolf Real Estate Investment, LLC. The Lawton Place address appears to be a rental property owned by the company, according to Allen County property tax records, but the address for Rolf Real Estate Investments is listed as the Falcon Ridge address.

Along with the Fabini properties, agents searched 4209 Wedgewood Drive, 7916 Wayward Court, 9634 Stowaway Cove and 10216 Sona Marie Court, as well as something at a storage lot at 7015 Indiana 930 E. in New Haven on Thursday.

A man connected to the Stowaway Cove address is also shown as the owner of a property in the Arlington Park subdivision.

That property was transferred to him in a real estate transaction with Michael Fabini in August 2010, according to records at the Allen County Recorder's Office.

No additional information about the nature of the investigation has been made available.
