Swiper needs a home

Swiper is a small 3-year-old neutered tan Chihuahua mix.

“I was brought to the Allen County SPCA due to allergies in my previous family. I am a fun little guy who loves to play tug!

“I do fairly well on my housebreaking but please be patient with me and give me an adjustment period when I come home with you. The staff recommends you crate train me to help me with housebreaking and learning the ropes of my new home.

“I would not require a fence or trolley to come home with you but I will need daily walks for exercise to keep me happy.

“The staff feels I would probably do best in a home with older children because I get a little nervous around smaller/younger children. I don’t seem to mind other dogs and just ignored the kitty during my assessment.

“If I sound like the perfect guy for your household please ask to see me today!”

He is available for adoption at the Allen County SPCA, 4914 Hanna St.

The shelter is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
