Egyptians gather to protest President Morsi

At least 100,000 Egyptians protest Tuesday outside the presidential palace in Tahrir Square in Cairo amid growing tensions over Islamist President Mohammed Morsi’s seizure of nearly unrestricted powers and a draft constitution hurriedly adopted by his allies. Protesters gathered at the square and several other points not far from the palace to march to the presidential complex. See story, Page 3A.
