Two teens are accused of stealing more than $22,000 worth of tools during a burglary at a Fort Wayne cleaning business.
Zachary Coleman, 19, of the 2100 block of Catalpa Street, and Zachary Shull, 19, of Ossian, were each charged Tuesday with burglary and receiving stolen property.
The break-in happened sometime late Nov. 27 or early Nov. 28 at Powerclean, an industrial cleaning contractor at 3404 N. Metro Drive, according to authorities.
In reviewing surveillance video, the business owner recognized Shull as one of the burglars, court papers said.
The video showed Shull and Coleman opening an overhead door, backing a car into the business and taking the tools, valued at more than $22,000, that belonged to a Powerclean employee, court papers stated.
Coleman and Shull were caught about 9 a.m. Nov. 28 during a traffic stop in Wells County, court papers stated. The tools were recovered and returned to the employee.
Coleman and Shull were being held Tuesday at the Allen County Jail.
