Mastodons looking for 4 out of 5

IPFW men's basketball team plays Valparaiso on Wednesday at the 5,000-seat Athletics-Recreation Center in Valpo.

Although the Crusaders own an 8-3 advantage over the Mastodons, IPFW will try to make it 4 out of 5 times they've beaten Valpo. Last year IPFW won, 85-76, in Fort Wayne.

As has been the custom, IPFW coach Tony Jasick is starting Isaiah McCray at point guard. This continues the every-other-game pattern of point guards, switching back-and-forth with Pierre Bland.

The Crusaders are 5-2, and IPFW is 5-4.

Steve Warden blogs all things IPFW.
