Carmel, IN - Gov.-elect Mike Pence announced appointments to his Cabinet today during a press briefing at the Statehouse.

Anita Kolkmeier Samuel, 36, will serve as Director of State Personnel, overseeing human resources and ensuring top-notch service to employees of the State. "Anita Samuel has an impressive record of service in the Daniels Administration," said Pence. "She is a proven leader who will capably serve the thousands of dedicated Hoosiers who work for the people and State of Indiana."

Robert Wynkoop, 42, current Commissioner of the Indiana Department of Administration (IDOA), will continue in this same capacity under Pence. Formerly IDOA's deputy commissioner for procurement, Wynkoop was named Commissioner in 2010 and helped to improve efficiency and value in the spending of taxpayer dollars. Prior to his service in state government which began in 2005, Wynkoop worked for the IBM Corporation and served as a staff member to former U.S. Senator Dan Coats. Wynkoop is a graduate of Taylor University, holds a master's degree from Ball State University and lives in Indianapolis.

Pence said Wynkoop will play a key role in continuing Indiana on a pathway to success. "Robert Wynkoop is a public servant of the highest caliber and will ensure state government in Indiana continues to function smoothly and effectively."

Mike Alley, 56, was appointed Commissioner of the Indiana Department of Revenue (DOR) earlier this year and will continue to serve in this role in the Pence Administration. He has decades of management experience in the banking industry, serving as president and CEO of Fifth Third Bank of Central Indiana, Interim Chairman and CEO of Integra Bank Corporation in Evansville and also as a small business owner of two operating companies. Alley is a graduate of Indiana State University and resides in Carmel.
