Judge Felts elected to high court board

Allen Circuit Court Judge Thomas Felts has been elected to the Indiana Judicial Conference Board of Directors.

He will represent District 7 – all of Allen County. There are 26 districts in Indiana. The board is the policy-making arm of the Indiana Supreme Court.

Elected by the trial court judges in Allen County, Felts will serve a two-year term.

Traffic signal added along Indiana 8

A traffic signal at Indiana 8 and County Road 15 in DeKalb County was activated Friday, according to officials from the Indiana Department of Transportation.

The amber, red and green light will control competing flows of traffic in all four directions, a change from the past four-way stop.
