Bryson Scott keeps eye on Boilermakers

Signed and sealed to Purdue, Northrop senior Bryson Scott is waiting to be delivered to the Boilermakers men’s basketball program next season.

After scoring 10 points and battling the flu in a 58-42 win over Carroll on Tuesday, Scott talked about the Purdue team and its current 4-4 record.

“They are frustrating me right now,” Scott said.

The 6-foot-2 Scott is a Mr. Basketball candidate and will join former South Side standout Rapheal Davis as Fort Wayne natives on the Purdue roster.

“I see spots where I can fit in and can contribute as a freshman,” Scott said of what the current team might be lacking. “I am a physical guy, and I play defense. Going to Purdue that’s what I feel I can contribute.”
