Apartment fight shooting victim ID’d

Police have identified a Fort Wayne man shot in the leg Saturday afternoon in an apartment building east of downtown.

Kyle Bolton, 21, was hospitalized in fair condition Sunday, city police said.

A fight between Bolton and another man led to Bolton being shot on the second floor of a two-story apartment building at 901 Francis St., police said. Bolton was taken to a hospital in serious condition, police said. As of Sunday, no arrests had been made.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Fort Wayne Police Department at 427-1222 or Crime Stoppers at 436-7867.
