Doll with explosive blown up in Angola

A stuffed Smurf doll was blown up in an Angola neighborhood Sunday night, and police are asking anyone who finds a stuffed doll to call them, just in case.

The investigation is in its initial stages, Detective Tim Crooks said Monday, adding that police aren’t sure whether it was meant to scare someone or a prank.

He confirmed the doll was blown apart at an intersection in a neighborhood on city’s north side on Sunday evening.

No injuries or damage were reported.
