Man gets 2 years for molesting

A 20-year-old Fort Wayne man was sentenced Friday in Allen Superior Court to two years in prison and four years on probation for child molesting.

Robert Peterson, of the 4100 block of Fairfield Avenue, pleaded guilty to a single charge of child molesting. Additional charges of child molesting and contributing to the delinquency of a minor were dismissed as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors.

Peterson was arrested and charged in February with having sex with a 12-year-old girl after plying her with alcohol.
