Risen Savior Church, 8010 W. Jefferson Blvd., will have its all-ages St. Nicholas Day Celebration at 9 a.m. Sunday. It will be followed with carriage rides and a pancake breakfast.
Trinity English Lutheran Church, 405 W. Wayne St., is having a Candlelight Service of Lessons and Carols with a Santa Lucia Procession at 4 p.m. Sunday. The worship service will begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by a wassail reception. The church will also have Breakfast with an Angel from 10 to 11 a.m. Dec. 8. St. Marks United Methodist Church, 546 W. U.S. 224, Decatur, is having Christmas at the Coffeehouse performances at 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
Faith United Church of Christ, 10707 Coldwater Road, is having a cookie and candy sale for women and men from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 8. It will include Christmas shopping for those ages 3 to 8. Gifts are $2 each or three for $5. Santa Claus will be there from 9 to 11 a.m.
Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 1500 W. State Blvd., is hosting The Bach Collegium: A Baroque Music Ensembles sing-along of Messiah at 2 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5.
Agape Church of the Brethren, 11610 Lima Road, is having a Christmas cookie walk from 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 8.
Victory Noll Center, 1900 W. Park Drive, Huntington, is offering Moving in the Rhythm of Advent through tai chi from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday and Dec. 11. Cost for the two sessions is $20, and registration begins at 9:15 a.m. each day. The center will have Sacred Journeys from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Dec. 10 and 17. Individuals may attend for a few minutes or a few hours. Events include a labyrinth, Taize music, journaling and quiet prayer.
St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Road, is hosting The Christ Child of Fort Waynes annual holiday cookie walk from 8:30 a.m. to noon today.

Lifetree Cafe is showing a filmed interview with Tom Shadyac, who worked on films including Patch Adams, The Nutty Professor and Bruce Almighty, from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the New Ground Coffee Company, 5925 N. Clinton St. Shadyac sold his Hollywood mansion and moved into a trailer park, and his interview discusses taking steps toward living a happier, saner, less cluttered life.
