    The Mad Ants’ defense of their D-League championship has gotten off to a rough start. A 99-87 loss Friday at Erie, Pennsylvania, dropped them to 0-3 on the season.

    Mad Ants captain Chris Porter is out of the lineup tonight at Erie, Pennsylvania, with an elbow injury. Titus Rubles will take his place on the active roster.

Ants lose on boards, in game

Chris Wright had 19 points and Quincy Miller added 17 for the Iowa Energy in its 102-88 victory over the Mad Ants in Des Moines, Iowa, on Saturday night.

The Energy (1-2) had 61 rebounds, while the Mad Ants (2-3) had only 41.

Fort Wayne was led by 17 points by Darryl Partin, while JaJuan Johnson had nine points and a game-best 14 rebounds.
