Franklin needs a home

Franklin is a 1-year-old neutered brown and white beagle and terrier mix.

“I was found as a stray and brought to the Allen County SPCA. I am a very active and outgoing guy who loves to run and play!

“I do well with my housebreaking but may need an adjustment period when I come home with you. The staff recommends you crate train me to help with this transition. I would love to attend obedience classes with you where we can learn lots of cool new things together!

The staff feels I would do well with children of all ages as long as they treat me nicely. I seem to get along well with other dogs. I get a little excited when I see cats but would probably do well in a home where there are no shy cats.

“If you are looking for a fun jogging buddy please ask to see me today!

He is available for adoption at the Allen County SPCA, 4914 Hanna St.

The shelter is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
