Ants look for No. 2

The Mad Ants, 0-2 with NBA players and 1-0 without them, will look for their second straight win tonight when they play Iowa at Memorial Coliseum. Tip is 7:30.

The Ants ended a two-game losing streak Wednesday when they beat Canton 86-75.

Walker Russell Jr. led the Ants with 25 points, and Ron Howard had 20, but the team got a boost from 6-foot-10 D-League rookie JaJuan Johnson, who had 16 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists.

Fort Wayne dropped its first two games when it had a pair of players from the Indiana Pacers in Miles Plumlee and Orlando Johnson, both of whom returned to the Pacers.

Following tonight's game, both the Ants and Iowa board their respective buses and head in the same direction, since the same teams will play Saturday night in Des Moines, Iowa.
