Wallace here, Toombs isn't

For the second straight game, the Mad Ants will have a new player.

Brandon Wallace, a 6-foot-8 forward who played at South Carolina, where he averaged 9.9 points and 9.4 rebounds as a senior, has joined the team.

To make room on the roster, the Ants waived forward Bernard Toombs, who scored 4 points in two games.

Two nights ago, the Ants brought in Tony Mitchell, who responded with 9 points, 8 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 assists in the Ants' 86-75 victory over Canton.

Steve Warden blogs all things Mad Ants.
