Ants trail at half

The Mad Ants trail Iowa at halftime, 53-49 in Friday's D-League game at Memorial Coliseum.

The Ants trailed by as many as 14 points late in the first quarter, 31-17. But Fort Wayne's stepped-up defense enabled it to catch the Energy at 41-all when JaJuan Johnson dropped two free throws with 5:18 left in the first half.

Sadiel Rojas has 10 points for the Ants, while former Oral Roberts standout Dominic Morrison leads Iowa with 15 points.
