    The D-League will hold its annual national tryouts June 15 in New York. The one-day event will see 200 hopefuls in full-court games in front of team executives, coaches and scouts.
  • Howard, Smith work at Development League camp
    Mad Ants guard Ron Howard and center Tommy Smith accepted invitations to the NBA Development League Elite Mini Camp, which started Monday and runs through Tuesday in Chicago.
  • Record year for D-League
    It wasn't only the Mad Ants that made 2012-13 their best season; the rest of the NBA Development League had a record-setting year, as well.

Mad Ants win 2nd straight

Now they get to do it again.

In the Mad Ants' most physical game of the young NBA D-League season, the Mad Ants defeated Iowa 108-101 Friday at Memorial Coliseum.

The same teams that combined for 57 fouls will play today in Des Moines, Iowa.

Ron Howard dropped two free throws with 39 seconds remaining to give the Ants a 104-101 lead. Sadiel Rojas intercepted an Iowa in bounds pass, and Walker Russell Jr. dropped two free throws with 28.1 seconds left to make it a 106-101 game.

Howard led six Ants players in double figures with 21 points.
