Ant in, Ant out

Tony Mitchell, a 6-foot-8 forward from the University of Alabama, has been acquired by the Mad Ants and will be in uniform tonight when the Ants play Canton at 7 p.m. at Memorial Coliseum.

To make room on the roster, the Ants waived forward Jason Warren.

Mitchell averaged 13.1 points and 7 rebounds as a junior at Alabama before declaring himself as an early entrant into the NBA draft. He went undrafted, but was invited to play with the Sacramento Kings for the NBA summer league. After playing in the Kings' training camp, Mitchell was released.

In two games, Warren averaged eight minutes and 1.5 points.
