    The D-League will hold its annual national tryouts June 15 in New York. The one-day event will see 200 hopefuls in full-court games in front of team executives, coaches and scouts.
  • Howard, Smith work at Development League camp
    Mad Ants guard Ron Howard and center Tommy Smith accepted invitations to the NBA Development League Elite Mini Camp, which started Monday and runs through Tuesday in Chicago.
  • Record year for D-League
    It wasn't only the Mad Ants that made 2012-13 their best season; the rest of the NBA Development League had a record-setting year, as well.

Ants trail at half

It's halftime in the Coliseum and the Mad Ants trail Canton 46-39.

The Ants built an early 12-7 lead, but scored just eight points in the final eight minutes and fell behind after the first quarter, 22-20.

With 41 seconds left in the first half, the Ants trailed 42-39, but Canton scored the final two baskets to take the seven-point halftime lead.

Ron Howard leads the Ants with 16 points. JaJuan Johnson has played his best half since joining the team, with 8 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocked shots.
