Roster jumble working, so far

The Komets are up 1-0 on the Gwinnett Gladiators after one period tonight in Georgia. Josh Brittain has the goal, off the rebound of a Daniel Maggio shot.

Goaltender Kenny Reiter stopped an early penalty shot by Tyler Murovich.

The Komets have benched Stephon Thorne and alternate captain Lincoln Kaleigh Schroch, who have combined for two goals this season.

By the way, newcomer Luca Caputi has 35 games of NHL experience with Pittsburgh and Toronto, scoring three goals and nine points between 2009 and 2011.

I believe he's the first ex-NHL player to join Fort Wayne since P.C. Drouin.
