Take away the first half, and IPFW's women's basketball team was just as good as Indiana's on Monday.
But there was, in fact, a first half, and because IU jumped out to a 38-20 lead, the Hoosiers went on to a 64-47 victory over the Mastodons in Bloomington.
The Hoosiers hit 15 of 22 shots from the floor in the first half for 68 percent. They finished the game shooting 25 of 47 for 53 percent.
The Mastodons, who had 10 steals, were led by Amanda Hyde's 11 points and 8 rebounds. Rachel Mauk had 10 points.
Aulani Sinclair led IU with 18 points.
