Komets lose to Toledo

Despite getting two goals from Matt Firman, the Komets lost again -- 4-2 to the Toledo Walleye at Memorial Coliseum on Saturday night.

It was the fifth loss in six games for the Komets, who play their next five games on the road and don't return to the Coliseum until Dec. 12.

Despite the loss, Komets coach Al Sims said he was satisfied with the effort of his team, which has suffered a plethora of injuries and lost defenseman Daniel Maggio in the first two minutes because he removed his elbow pad before fighting.
