Lots of offense early in Bucket game

Purdue leads Indiana 14-7 after the first quarter Saturday at Ross-Ade Stadium.

There has been plenty of offense in this one.

The Hoosiers struck first when Stephen Houston scored on a 51-yard run.

The Boilermakers answered with a 77-yard scoring drive. Brandon Cottom scoreed on a 14-yard run as Purdue tied the game at 7.

Purdue took the lead on an 8-yard touchdown pass from Robert Marve to Antavian Edison.

Purdue had 156 yards of total offense in the quarter. Marve passed for 81 yards and Akeem Shavers rushed for 48 yards for the Boilermakers.

Houston had 54 rushing yards for Indiana. The Hoosiers had 73 yards of offense in the quarter. Linebacker David Cooper already has five tackles for IU.
