Bear

Bear needs a home

Bear is a large 1-year-old neutered chocolate Labrador retriever-terrier mix.

“I am as sweet as a Teddy Bear! I am a very outgoing guy who loves to run and play.

“I enjoy having my belly rubbed. Please make sure you have the time to spend with me when I come home with you because I adore human affection!

“I would love to go on daily walks with you or have a fenced in yard to run and play in. I would also benefit from attending obedience classes with you where we can learn lots of neat things together! The staff recommends you crate me when I come home with you to help with my housebreaking and also to keep me and your things safe while you are away from home.

“The staff feels I would do well with children of all ages, as long as they treat me nicely. I should probably go to a home with no cats because I like to bark and chase them. I seem to do well with other dogs as long as we are introduced properly.

“If you are searching for a sweet and lovable guy to share your home with please ask to see me today!”

He is available for adoption at the Allen County SPCA, 4914 Hanna St.

The shelter is normally open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. It is closed on Black Friday.
