Scary moment

Thomas Beauregard's goal on a shot from about 30 feet out tied the Komets and Kalamazoo Wings at 2 in the second period.

Soon after, there was a scary moment when Fort Wayne defenseman Daniel Maggio shoved Brett Lysak into Komets goalie Kenny Reiter, who was motionless on the ice for a couple minutes.

Reiter was OK, though, and he's stopped 19 of 21 shots.

Fort Wayne has 29 shots through two periods.
