In my attempt to expose the personal background and truth regarding President Obamas political ideology and agenda, it has become evident that people either supported my views or were adamant that I was seriously misinformed about Obamas campaign message to the voters of this great country. As my son-in-law (born and raised in Tehran, Iran, and now a naturalized American) said, Thank goodness with the First Amendment Bill of Rights, the freedom of speech, we all have the right to express our personal views – never take it for granted.
Based on my letters and personal viewpoints, I have been called a radical Republican, racist, anti-feminist, against people on welfare, stupid, uniformed, nutcase, old and out of touch, intense, disliked immigrants, a Fox News adorer, and Islamophobic, in addition to other terms I cannot print. I have also received hang-up phone calls and received cowardly unsigned harassment letters in the mail. I have been told by many Democrats, friends and family members: The election is over, so get over it.
I never disliked Obama, rather I was against his political ideology, his pandering to specific groups of individuals, his lack of and/or avoidance of dealing effectively with international and internal terrorist incidents, his cronyism with people who do not support the Constitution, and lack of leadership for this country, which he has proven beyond a shadow of doubt over the past four years and, I predict, will continue for the next four years.
With the election over, it is now time to examine the campaign promises Obama delivered to his followers for the next four years. Unfortunately, I am predicting those same failed promises will be the same ones he promised in 2008. At times, his 2008 and 2012 speeches sounded identical in content and vision. I could readily identify some of those repeated promises, but I bet people would say again, The election is over, so get over it, the next four years will be better. I only pray that they are correct.
I believe to remain silent and never speak out for your beliefs gives the impression that you agree with those who do speak out. But there is an appropriate way to express your beliefs without slandering those who oppose your views. As an avid reader of American and world history, there are two totally opposite beliefs that state:
We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the Courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who would pervert the Constitution. – Abraham Lincoln
America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: Its patriotism, its morality and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within. – Josef Stalin
Going forward, the 2012 voters will have to ask themselves – which path will keep our great country as it was intended or which path will destroy us from within?
