IPFW routs Judson

It was a record night of dominance

IPFW held Judson to 11 points in the first half and continued to pour it on in a 92-22 victory Tuesday at Memorial Coliseum.

The 22 points allowed were the fewest by an opponent in IPFW history, and the 70-point margin was also the largest in team history.

The Mastodons (3-3) held a 40-11 halftime lead and never let up to beat Judson (2-7).

The visiting Eagles made 4 of 20 shots in the first half and committed 18 turnovers. In the end, they were 9 of 50, 2 of 25 from three-point range, and made 28 turnovers.

IPFW, meanwhile, hit 35 of 58 from the field for .603 percent.

Freshman guard Herbert Graham led IPFW with 17 points.

Frank Gaines, who left the game with 8:58 remaining, had 15. Joe Reed scored 14 and Luis Jacobo had 13.
