  • Softball season ends
    Jessica Hall gave up only three hits to IPFW and the UCLA softball team defeated the Mastodons 8-0 on Saturday to end IPFW's season at the NCAA Regional in Louisville, Ky.
  • Mastodons to regionals
    IPFW senior Theresa McHugh and freshman Rachel Dincoff have earned spots at the NCAA East Region Preliminary Championships, which begins May 23 in Greensboro, N.C.
  • Softball players honored
    IPFW junior Ashleigh Bousquet and sophomore Larissa Franklin were named to the Summit League Softball Academic All-League team, as voted on by the schools’ faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors.

Mastodons lose in Muncie

Despite a miserable shooting night, IPFW lost by only seven points, 53-46, at Ball State on Monday.

Amanda Hyde and Erin Murphy combined for 29 points and hit 12 of 23 shots from the floor, while the rest of the team was 5 of 30.

IPFW, which had 22 turnovers against six assists, was 2 of 21 from three-point range.

It was the second loss in three games for the Mastodons.
