K's dominated, action still ensues

The Komets lost their third straight games, but there was some drama in the 5-0 loss to Evansville in the form of Matt Gens antagonizing the Komets, as well as some other highlights.

Video, K's might need changes

We've heard for months how the NHL lockout has forced this glut of talent around the minor leagues, and how it was the most competitive Komets training camp in years. Well, now that the Komets have lost three in a row, and looked dreadful along the way, maybe they should put that to the test and bring some guys in for tryouts.

It's true, the Komets have a lot of injuries, but I'm not sure that explains the lack of enthusiasm and lack of smarts we saw over the weekend. I've felt all season the Komets need another offensive defenseman, but it also seems some of the Komets' skill players have disappeared lately, too.

Sometimes just bringing guys in for a looksie can kick players into gear. Anyway, it's an idea.

Above is the video from the 5-0 loss to the Evansville IceMen. I kept it short, in deference to what we all saw, but I think you will enjoy it.
