The body of Thomas Haskins was a day away from being cremated – and his closest kin didn’t even know he was dead.Northbound Interstate 69 was closed Friday morning in Huntington County because of a crash involving several vehicles.
Update: As of 10:34 a.m., the right lane remained closed.
The Indiana State Police said shortly after 8:30 a.m. that the road was closed at the 290-mile marker.
It said that the Indiana Department of Transportations would be be diverting northbound traffic onto U.S. 224 at exit 286.
INDOT's website said at 9 a.m. that a tractor-trailer rig overturned three miles north of Markle and that only emergency vehicles were permitted in the area.
