Rico is a 3-year-old neutered tan Chihuahua.
"I was originally adopted from the Allen County SPCA then returned due to some allergies in the home. I am a very sweet boy who is very affectionate and wants to be by your side at all times!
"I do well with my housebreaking and will require an adjustment period when I come home with you. The staff recommends you crate train me to help with my housebreaking and also so I stay safe while you are away from home. I do not require a fence or trolley to come home with you but I will need daily walks for exercise.
"The staff feels I would do well with children of all ages as long as they treat me nicely. I get along well with other dogs and even cats!
"If you are looking for a little shadow to follow you around please come visit with me today!"
He is available for adoption at the Allen County SPCA, 4914 Hanna St.
The shelter is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
