The Fort Wayne Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man suspected of theft and fraud.About 12:30 p.m.A man on the run from police after an armed robbery at a New Haven gun shop Tuesday turned himself in Wednesday night, police said.
Two other men and a juvenile have also been charged. Police identified the two men Wednesday.
Brenton Ennis, 18, turned himself in about 6:30 p.m. on felony charges of robbery and resisting law enforcement. He was being held in lieu of $12,500 bail.
Ennis was driving the getaway vehicle at the time of the robbery, New Haven police said Wednesday night.
According to police, two males entered Shooters Guns at 660 Lincoln Highway West in New Haven about 11:15 a.m. Tuesday. The pair stole several handguns and battered the store's owner and a customer before leaving, police said.
During the robbery, a gun belonging to one of the robbers discharged, but it was unclear whether the bullet hit anyone inside, police said.
After the holdup, the two robbers got into a dark blue Impala with two others and drove west on Indiana 930 toward Fort Wayne, police said.
A short time later, an Allen County sheriff's officer spotted the car and tried to pull it over, but the driver refused to stop. The resulting chase ended at South Anthony Boulevard and McKinnie Avenue after the Impala collided with a pickup truck, according to police reports.
Three people inside the Impala when it crashed ran before officers made their way to the car. The fourth person was immediately apprehended, police said Wednesday night.
Two of the three who ran were caught Tuesday, and the third – Ennis – turned himself in Wednesday.
Orlando Paschall, 21, and Craig Whigum, 19, were each booked Wednesday morning on a felony robbery charge.
Both were being held at the Allen County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail, but Paschall was also being held without bail on a probation violation.
A 15-year-old boy is also in custody on a robbery charge in Tuesday's holdup.
