For starters

No. 1 Indiana faces Sam Houston State as part of the Progressive Legends Classic.

The Hoosiers have shown their depth in the first two games. IU's bench is averaging 38.5 points per game. Remy Abell and Jeremy Hollowell are averaging 13 points per game off the bench. Will Sheehey is averaging 9.5 points per game.

Sam Houston State is 1-1. The Bearkats lost their opener, 73-68, at Arkansas on Nov. 9. They defeated Hardin-Simmons 82-31 on Tuesday.

Guard Darius Gatson leads the team in scoring, averaging 14.5 points per game. Forward James Thomas is averaging 13 points and eight rebounds.

Indiana will honor the 1953 national championship team at halftime. Jim Schooley, who is from Auburn, was on the team.
