Hoosiers crush Sam Houston State

Jordan Hulls reached the 1,000-point mark for his career in Indiana's 99-45 victory against Sam Houston State on Thursday at Assembly Hall.

Hulls scored 10 points as the No. 1 Hoosiers improved to 3-0.

The senior guard entered the game needing 10 points to become the 44th person in school history with 1,000 points. He reached the mark with a three-pointer in the second half.

Hulls was one of five Hoosiers to score in double figures Thursday.

Christian Watford led all scorers with 23 points. Will Sheehey and Victor Oladipo had 18 and 14 points, respectively. Cody Zeller scored 13 points.

The Hoosiers return to action Monday against Georgia in the Progressive Legends Classic at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
