Holiday photos raise money for Hope efforts

FORT WAYNE – Hope for Animals is offering “Pics for Paws: Holiday Pictures with a Purpose” this weekend.

The photography club at the University of Saint Francis is donating its time to shoot photos – with or without pets – at the Hope building, 1333 Maycrest Drive.

The times are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and noon to 3 p.m. Sunday.

A donation of $7.99 will get a 5-by-7-inch photo and a digital copy with full rights, according to a statement from the organization.

The money raised will support Hope for Animals with its mission of “ending unnecessary euthanasia of companion animals” through low-cost spaying and neutering, as well as its wellness, education and rescue efforts.
