A 69-year-old Fort Wayne woman was treated and released after a crash Sept. 25 in northern Allen County, but she was found dead in her home the next day.

The Allen County Coroner’s Office ruled Friday that Gladys M. Dye died of blunt-force trauma caused by the crash, declaring her death the 34th traffic fatality for Fort Wayne and the county in 2012.

Dye was a passenger in a crash at Indiana 1 and Tonkel Road. The coroner’s office said she was wearing her seat belt at the time.
