And Another Thing

A grand occasion

There has been cooler stuff in these parts, I suppose. I just can't think of any right now, knowing Bob Chase and Mike Emrick, a pair of hockey legends whole and breathing, will be calling a Komets game together this evening.

For Emrick's and Chase's takes, here's my colleague Justin Cohn.

My take?

Well, because my mind tends to run in those channels, I smell history here. Can't think of any other time that two winners of the NHL's Lester Patrick Trophy for service to hockey have shared a booth, let alone shared one for a double-A hockey game in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

So, my take is, I wish I could DVR my car radio. Because I'll be on high school football duty tonight and likely miss the broadcast.

Darn.
