Ants take Johnson

The Mad Ants made it official when they made former Purdue forward JaJuan Johnson the No. 1 overall pick in the NBA Development League draft.

Johnson is a 6-foot-10 power forward who was named the Big Ten Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year for the 2010-11 season.

He played briefly with the Boston Celtics last season, but was released this year by the Houston Rockets.
