Thomas Road to close at tracks

FORT WAYNE – Thomas Road on the city’s west side is scheduled to close to all traffic at the Norfolk Southern Railroad track between Illinois and Bass roads.

The Fort Wayne Traffic Engineering Department announced Tuesday that the closure for crossing repairs will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday.

The official detour will use Bass Road, Ardmore Avenue and Illinois Road.
